Congratulations to the High School BBQ Team Spring Creek Smokers for advancing to Nationals. We placed 6th in pork chop today as well. We will be competing June 6th-8th in Branson, Missouri. We are incredibly proud of our team and would also like to thank American Fire BBQ Supply of Lee Summit for providing quality meat to cook today.

TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK
In the heart of Hurley, where Tigers roam,
Our teachers shine, making this place home.
With knowledge and care, they light the way,
Guiding students to succeed each day.
With patience and passion, they inspire,
Igniting curiosity like a blazing fire.
They nurture minds, helping dreams take flight,
Making learning an adventure, pure delight.
In classrooms and halls, their dedication shows,
Creating a haven where every student grows.
With kindness and wisdom, they lead the pack,
Molding young minds on the right track.
To Hurley Tigers' teachers, we send our cheers,
For all you do, throughout the years.
You shape the future, with hearts so true,
Thank you for all that you do!

Thank you to the fabulous PTO for helping us celebrate our teachers with a delicious lunch!
