High School Announcements (Grades 9-12)
Principal Note for High Schoolers: As we approach Spring Break, we encourage students to stay focused and finish the week strong! This is a great time to check grades, complete any outstanding assignments, and set goals for the final stretch of the school year. Please remind your child to stay engaged in class and take advantage of any extra help if needed. We appreciate your support and wish everyone a restful and enjoyable break!
Counselor Note for High Schoolers: We will begin registering students for Table Rock Career Center. We just came back from our visit and are very excited to see the number of students that attend next year.

High School Quiz Bowl
Fair Grove Junior Varsity Tournament Saturday March 29, 2025 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Permission Slip will go out next week but we plan on practicing during RTI as long as students are in good standing with their other classes.
Junior Class

Moeller: Algebra I, Geometry and Algebra II will have Evaluate testing on Wednesday.
Jr. High Announcements (Grades 7th & 8th)

Teacher announcements for Jr. High Core Subjects:
7th grade ELA (Knight): 7th grade will continue developing their argumentative essay. We will move from researching to planning, organization, and prewriting.
7th grade Reading (Lumpkin): This week students will be reading the commentary, “ Why Exploring the Ocean is Mankind’s Next Giant Leap.” Students will learn to evaluate reasoning used to support a claim and identify tone.
7th grade Math (Conlee): Students will be wrapping up our mini unit over circles and composite figures. They will be testing on Thursday.
7th grade Science (Hampton): 7th grade will begin a new unit in the area of nature’s adaptations and nature’s selection processes that leads us to our environmental ideas.
7th grade Social Studies (Donnell): Seventh grade will finish the Eurasia unit and begin the next unit after Spring Break covering the Constitution.
8th grade ELA (Knight): 8th grade will continue developing their argumentative essay. We will move from planning and organization to drafting.
8th grade Reading (Lumpkin): This week students will be reading the short story, “Marigolds.” Students will learn to identify the motivations of characters in a story and determine the factors that help him or her understand the theme of the story.
8th grade Math (Conlee): Students will continue their work with systems of equations. They will review this week and test on Thursday.
8th grade Science (Hampton): The 8th graders are starting a new unit this week on Newton’s Laws of Motion.
8th grade Social Studies (Donnell): Students will finish the unit on Eurasia this week and start work on the Constitution after Spring Break.
