February 4 - Girls and boys basketball vs Verona starting at 5:30. Senior Night
February 6 - Girls basketball vs Wheaton at 6:00.
February 6 - Cheer camp at halftime of the girls basketball game.
February 8 - Archery at Billings

Teacher announcements for Jr. High Core Subjects:
7th grade ELA (Knight): 7th grade will begin constructing a multimedia presentation over the main points of our unit’s texts.
7th grade Reading (Lumpkin): This week, seventh graders will learn how to trace and evaluate an argument while analyzing a speech by John F. Kennedy.
7th grade Math (Conlee): Equations test scores have been recorded in TeacherEase. Seventh graders will incorporate their equation solving skills with geometry concepts. We will have a mini unit on angle measurements.
7th grade Science (Hampton):
7th grade Social Studies (Donnell): Seventh grade will continue to learn about Europe and its history, culture, and geography.
8th grade ELA (Knight): 8th grade will continue working on their Anne Frank’s Legacy unit, now continuing to read other supporting literature about the Holocaust.
8th grade Reading (Lumpkin): Eighth graders will learn to identify and analyze compare-and-contrast organizational patterns in a text while exploring how a word’s connotation influences its meaning.
8th grade Math (Conlee): Students will continue working with linear relationships. Use the slope and y-intercepts to write a linear function in the form y=mx+b from any representation (table, graph, or verbal description). Students will have a big unit test at the end of this week or early next week.
8th grade Science (Hampton):
8th grade Social Studies (Donnell): 8th grade will continue learning about the history, culture, and geography of Europe.
